Chloe is a dream subject. She's easy, breezy, and eager to feel everything she needs to feel to get the shot. Her eyes were heavy this day, maybe from nervousness, or maybe from an unseen weight behind them? Finding her vulnerability meant appealing to her openness to sit for me but also fill the space with time to let her settle into the seat.

Chloe. When your subject is this charming, it's easy to just click away like a fool and find yourself with 100 perfect photos. Chloe's genuine joy, patience, and eagerness to please allowed me the space to find new ways to bring out her true self.

Cozy vibes invite long, comfortable conversations. Chloe wasn't a subject, she was inviting, comfortable, easy. It's all in that sweater. Which she stole from Bill.

A great porrait captures person's true self. Here, Chloe's early sitting showed her hesitation, trepidation, and, ultimately, her trust that I would not let her look 'bad.' As if.

Our final shot, was a demo of Bill's Hemingway Karsh. Chloe was a great sport for allowing me the time and space to fiddle seemingly endlessly to get the lighting, shadows, tones down. But the results? She looks ripped from the fjords.
